WE TV is going to run special selected episodes from the golden girls, the famous TV series of the eighties tonight. We TV is broadcasting those episodes in the kind memory of the golden girls who have passed away after giving us endless memories of their superb acting. Last week a superb actor from the golden girls Rue Mclanahan passed away. She suffered a brain hemorrhage which led to her death; she suffered a lot of pain in the last days of her life. She was the youngest among the cast of Golden girls. Her work in the series is admirable. She also worked in many other successful TV series.
Bea Arthur was also a part of the golden girls she passed away last year in April, her role in the series was also very important. She was a very kind and generous lady she donated three hundred thousand dollars to a welfare society which provides people who don’t have homes with homes. She has been fighting for civil rights for women all her life. She died of Cancer; her death was a big loss to the showbiz industry. She is an Emmy award winner.
Estelle Getty also passed away two years back; she was the first among the golden girls to die. She was almost eighty five years of age when she died.
Betty white is the only actress from the Golden girls to be alive. She is eighty eight years old; she will be the only golden girl to watch the marathon on We TV given as a tribute to the golden girls.
