The board chairman of United Technologies Corp. and former CEO “George David” spent 1 weekend with his girlfriend “Wendy Touton” (New York financial adviser) in St. Tropez during the fall of 2007 and the after that with his wife (Marie Douglas-David) in Paris.
George David was on a buying binge for his mistress: $1,500 worth of La Mer cosmetic creams, $10,000 in Manolo Blahnik shoes and boots, imported lingerie from La Perla, a $13,000 David Basso fur coat and a tour to Buenos Aires while Marie Douglas-David alienated was supposedly trying to piece together their broken marriage. But in “Hartford Family Court” 67 years of George David defended his extramarital relationship on Tuesday by saying that he believed that his marriage dead. It is said by the George David on the stand when questioned by a lawyer of his wife (New York celebrity attorney William Beslow) regarding his affiliation with Wendy Touton.
According to a report George David is still seeing Wendy Touton, who had spent many days with George David and his friend “Richard Gordon” (the former Hartford Whalers owner) and his wife in October 2007 on the French Riviera. George David was in Paris with Marie Douglas-David a week later. George David was walking with his wife when Willian Beslow pushed George David about an event there in which George David saw the Gordons and steered Marie Douglas-David down a side street without any delay to avoid them.
George David said that even though the earrings were purchased in 2006 buy they were not a gift for her. Many times Dranginis tried forcefully to muffle answers to the questions of Willian Beslow about the intimacies and relationship with Wendy Touton. She said at the close of the session Tuesday that it is a matter of waiting for David’s turn.
