West Memphis Three is a group of three people who are in jail these days. The name West Memphis Three was given to these three teens when they were accused of killing some young children. The three of them are not teenagers any more as they were teens when they got involved onto this crime about seventeen years ago. Last night the TV series 48 hours focused on this mysterious case. The people who did not know about the case were shocked to know that something so brutal had happened in the past. And the people who forgot the whole story got those old memories reminded.
The TV program showed some interviews including one of Johnny Depp. Johnny stated that he is sure that at least of member of the group Damien is not guilty. He believes that he is not involved in this brutal crime. The wife of Damien was also interviewed and she stated that her husband is innocent and she is working hard to get her out of jail. She is a lawyer herself and she got married to Damien when he was in jail.
West Memphis Three case was portrayed by the media in a sense that it showed the three teenagers to be satanic slaves. The media showed that they had killed the young children in order to do some big satanic activity. The media pressure was immense and the police and judges were also under pressure. They had to give a strong reaction towards this brutal killings incident.
