The media and the political circles were asking the question, “when is the state of the union address”? President Obama is going deliver the much awaited state of the union address on Wednesday January 27, 2010. The speech will be directly telecasted on all media networks from the floor of United States House of Representatives in Washington DC. This is going to be Obama’s first annual address to the United States Congress.
When is the state of the union address? How will President Obama prove that the promised change is taking place? Will he stick to his health care reform? The speech will envisage the achievements of the Obama Govt. and the future plans for the next year.
The sources have revealed that the speech writers have been working on the address since weeks but the date was not announced.
After the election upset in Massachusetts, Obama may try to please the annoyed or unsatisfied voters. The rising level of unemployment and the recession in the economy will be the main focus of the speech and his legislative agenda may be left in the background. His most advocated Health care bill may not get full support from his own party because many of the seats in the upcoming mid-elections have become hard to win.
The main reason is the derailing of the economy, the heavy expenditures and no results.
Some proposals to give relief to the middle class families are being finalized. Childcare tax credit may be doubled for the under $85,000 earning groups that will mean $900 for every family.
The faithful audiences of some popular TV shows were also enquiring about “When is the state of union address”?
