Deserts, forests always think as the homes of monsters but sometimes it appears to be true that monster has been examined somewhere near the town. Arkansas is an American state situated in the southern region and is definitely one of the oddest and strangest for the presence of monsters. One is 6-feet-tall, shaggy, humanoid mammoth and found there at the end of the year 1960 while another most renowned and notable creature of Arkansas is the White River Monster. This is a mystery examined frequently during 1920-1970. The habitants of this small town reported a weird monster near the river and it was named as White River Monster.
The White River monster was reported as being reptile -like and at least 30 feet long. Observers reported that the monster made a gaudy thundering or roaring noise and had a thorny backbone. The creature’s size observed varied years by years and it was repeatedly faced or seen by fisherman and vacationers or campers along the river.
In 1971 three-toed tracks were seen by some residents along the muddy river side and they found some crushed vegetables that definitely crushed and eaten by this horrifying creature. This was first time that “White River Monster” was photographed by Cloyce Warren in the same year. Cloyce Warren was the official photographer of the White River Lumber Company.
There is another story that the monsters have an awful, unpleasant smell and had a habit of killing birds and livestock and some other animals like dogs and cats. The story became so popular a movie “The Legend of Boggy Creek” was produced about this monster in 1973. If you ever got a chance to visit Arkansas, don’t split the chance of observing a monster.
