Perhaps the best thing about 2002 movie “Wicked Minds” is the actress Angie Everhart. She is looking hot and her performance is best over the other cast members. A “B-Grade” movie with all the twists and turns of the plot taken from other movies. Holden Price is the hero of the film. He has graduated from Harvard and his father calls him back to take care of the business. As he return, he is in to a shock, his father Mason has married a young lady – Angie. Mason knows the needs of a young guy like Holden and tries his son to develop interest in Nicole. First Holden does not particularly like his father and he is also not much interested in Nicole either.
From the start Angie seems to be interested in Mason’s money. However as her step son is a hunk, they both go on to develop a relationship. Perhaps the best scene of the film is when Angie and her step son go to Angie’s favorite bar. The restaurant is closed due to the holidays. Angie insists that she likes the Spurs Bar only and shows her disappointment that it is closed. As they are going back, she has an idea. She looks for the key on the floor near the bar’s door and finds it.
She is wearing a revealing dress with the tattoo of an alligator on her belly all too visible. Both are giggling and talking like school folks.
The father is killed and the prime suspects are Angie and Holden.
A romantic thriller lacking both good romance and thrill!
