Couple of months back in May, 2009 Cedar Point unveiled its 15th now roller coaster “Wicked Twister”. A new Roller Coaster “Wicked Twister” folks you need to see it yourself to believe it. Now adrenaline junkies will have another reason to hit Cedar Point Park. Once again Cedar point has broke the record with their new roller coaster “Wicked Twister” known as impulse coaster it is world’s tallest and fastest roller coaster, which has twists on both ends.
Now how it works or what this “impulse coaster” is, actually every time this coaster passes through the main station back or forth, a special electric motor gives this coaster some more electric supply or impulse so that “Wicked Twister” accelerates faster than before and can go higher.
It all changes when adrenaline junkies first ride the “Superman ultimate Escape” as it was the first impulse roller coaster and then everything changed overnight.
Before “Wicked Twister” all the roller coasters manufacturers use to make was with one twisting spike, but this coaster has the privilege to break that record too, it has two twisting spikes one on each end. Another thing that distinguishes this roller coaster from others in Cedar Point amusement park is that this is the first coaster which does not use a lift hill technique to gain its momentum, an electric motor known as “LIM” or linear induction motor accelerates “Wicked Twister” to reach the height of 215ft twisted spike.
