The WJLA Breast Exam, the TV Channel from Washington is about to air show based on demonstration on Breast Examination and this is not the only news, they decided to demonstrate the breast self examination with showing clear parts of the body by avoiding obscuring. The breast cancer awareness show consists on four episodes, two episodes on 29th and two on 30th October 2009.
The spokesman of the station Abby Fenton explained the format very seriously. She said the program named Touch of Life is the part of the Breast Cancer Awareness Month. She also told that the program will also be re telecasted in the month of November during the peak hours to get the maximum results out of it.
She told that the program is one of its own kinds, as the research of their channel showed that most of the women have no idea to examine their breasts by their own. The programs about the awareness of breast examination showed by different channels are mostly based on blurring. Which never provides the idea and clear the method to the women for the examination of the breasts by their own, she also told that through their program the women will get the exact idea and they can perform the test by their own after watching the demonstration without hiding or blurring the parts of the body by showing the breasts clearly.
She further said that it can be mouth watering or entertaining for many people but for them its quite a serious job to do and the objective of providing clear information cannot be achieved by blurring. She said who will perform the demonstration is very irrelevant for them as to spread the awareness properly among the women is the propriety.
