MORONI: A Yemen Airline Crashed with 150 passengers (belong to Yemeni state called Yemenia) into jerky seas as it came in to ground on the Indian Ocean archipelago of Comoros on Tuesday as described by the officials. Out of these 150 people No one found alive yet. As described by Paris airport spokeswoman, a “Yemenia Flight” left Paris on Monday morning and taking off for Moroni before landing in Yemen it crashed in Indian Ocean. Vice president of Comoros “Idi Nadhoim” attested from the airport at the main capital of Moroni Island that plane has crashed and we do not know accurately where but we have rough idea that it could be “Mitsamiouli”. About 150 passengers were on the board.
Ibrahim Kassim, (a representative from regional air security body ASECNA) believed that the plane had come down 3 to 6 miles (5 to 10 km) from the beach, military and civilian boats had been mobilized to start searching. Ibrahim Kassim said that he thinks crash is somewhere next to its landing approach and weather is not actually favorable and sea is violent.
The Agency for Aviation Security and Navigation (ASECNA) in Africa and Madagascar covers Francophone Africa. Mitsamiouli town is located on main island “Grande Comore”. Unnamed official said “There is a crash, there is a crash in the sea,” who replied the telephone in Yemenia office of Moroni.
Interior minister Hamid Bourhane said that the Army had sent with small speedboats to that area between the airport and the village of “Ntsaoueni”, and research teams also working and searching for the victims.
