A 1975 horror moving, going to be on cinemas in Jacksonville starting from 28th October. The word Zaat is in fact a secret formula to transform humans into amphibian specie. At best the film was received as a B Grade movie. However, since its release in 1975, the movie has gone on to capture the interest of a niche of population.
The movie is about a crank scientist, who is revealed to have been living in his laboratory for 20 years and all he wants is to turn humans into amphibians. He has come up with a formula in the shape of ZaAt. The formula is the key to turn living human beings in to Catfish. The scientist has gone on to release many of his creatures into the town’s water supply and people are feeling the affect of the experiment. As he goes further into his mad pursuit, he transforms himself into a Zaat.
Once being a Catfish he can further his dark agenda. First in line is a colleague professor who had previously criticized his work. As he chases the professor while he is gone on a boating trip, the professor’s wife survives the attack, however the scientist remain successful in killing his colleague.
Having fulfilled his mission he is searching for a female Zaat to get married to. First choice is a girl who is camping on the shore, as she is injected with the serum, the experiment goes wrong and the girl dies.
The film ends with mad scientist still at large in the shape of a catfish.
Total wastage of time and money.
